Position Overview

As a Resource Management Specialist at Assystem, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our projects are adequately staffed with qualified and experienced personnel to meet both current and future demands. Your key duties will encompass:

  • Assessing project needs and strategically allocating resources through company systems
  • Identifying and optimizing available resources to enhance billable utilization while adhering to budget constraints
  • Facilitating project transitions in collaboration with internal teams and clients
  • Participating in the recruitment process, including candidate selection and interviews to support organizational growth
  • Developing and overseeing plans that outline non-billable activities and associated time in partnership with budget managers
  • Projecting resource utilization, non-billable hours, and resource availability
  • Collaborating with department heads to pinpoint the most suitable candidates for projects and proposals
  • Ensuring that training initiatives are established and managed in accordance with budgetary guidelines in conjunction with the Learning and Development team
  • Verifying that billable candidates meet financial and logistical requirements
  • Conducting onboarding sessions for new hires and integrating resources into projects
  • Engaging with clients to ascertain resource needs
  • Drafting role descriptions
  • Coordinating with the recruitment team to provide an excellent introduction to the organization for new employees
  • Acting as the liaison and coordinator for contract resources
  • Maintaining essential documentation such as headcount reports, organizational charts, and contact directories
  • Conducting forecasting and performance analysis
  • Formulating the departmental strategy for the year
  • Collaborating with other divisions to assess resource availability and requirements
  • Representing Assystem within various frameworks
  • Establishing financial terms for new hires
Qualifications

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum of UK qualification level 4 or level 3 with significant relevant experience
  • Working towards professional membership with a recognized institution such as CMI, CIPD, or IOM
  • Demonstrable relevant experience in resource management, planning, and recruitment & selection
