We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to join our team at AESC UK. The ideal candidate will support the development and implementation of effective safety systems, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Senior EHS Manager to ensure compliance with health and safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments for work equipment and operations, and implement recommended improvements.
- Deliver site inductions and promote best practices in environmental health and safety.
- Manage and maintain health and safety training records, and liaise with external consultants to provide specific training programs.
- Support the safe disposal of waste streams and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
- A suitable 3rd level qualification in a relevant discipline, such as environmental health and safety or a related field.
- At least 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a COMAH industry.
- A proven track record in environmental health and safety, with a strong understanding of relevant regulations and standards.
