Sellick Partnership is seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to join a well-established and thriving organization in Manchester.
This company, with a workforce of approximately 450 employees, has experienced consistent growth and is looking to enhance its finance team with the addition of a Financial Accountant.
As a Financial Accountant, you will play a vital role within the finance department, managing a diverse portfolio of clients that includes both small to medium enterprises and large corporations.
This position is ideal for individuals transitioning from practice, those who are Part-Qualified with experience in account preparation, or candidates with a similar background in producing comprehensive financial statements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Preparing and overseeing client financial statements from inception to completion.
2. Collaborating with various departments to gather essential information for account preparation.
3. Calculating accruals and prepayments accurately.
4. Reconciling pension payroll, investments, and contributions with accounting records.
5. Developing cash flow analyses for administrative reports.
6. Engaging in project work aimed at implementing a new accounting system.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
The successful candidate will possess:
- Progress towards a recognized professional qualification (ACA or ACCA).
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven experience in preparing end-to-end financial statements for various clients.
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring numerical and verbal accuracy.
