About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Receptionist to join our UK support functions team at Bupa. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional front of house service to our internal and external customers, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for all visitors and employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet and greet visitors, providing a courteous and efficient welcome
  • Manage general enquiries, including phone calls and personal visits
  • Book taxis and arrange ID passes for employees, visitors, and contractors
  • Operate security systems, including CCTV and car parking systems
  • Update the reception diary and maintain accurate records
  • Ensure the reception area is clean and tidy at all times
  • Work with the M&E contractor to resolve issues and log them on the helpdesk
  • Book meeting rooms and provide advice on catering arrangements and equipment
  • Liaise with facilities services to resolve issues with vending, photocopiers, cleaning, and grounds maintenance
  • Communicate with employees via email and assist with administration duties
  • Manage deliveries and perform additional facilities-related tasks as required

Requirements

  • GCSE level in English, Maths, and/or Business Studies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to deal with sensitive situations and volatile situations effectively
  • Good perception and attention to detail
  • Understanding of facilities management services and corporate image
