About the Role

The Creative Artworker role is a key position within the JD Group's Property Store Development Team. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing creative and on-brand environmental graphics, wayfinding signage, and permanent VM display solutions for new and existing retail stores.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop innovative and inspiring environmental graphics and signage solutions for UK and international store projects.
  • Deliver design updates for signage and graphics within the existing store portfolio.
  • Produce on-brand presentations and communication collateral.
  • Create print-ready/manufacturing artwork.
  • Liaise with key project stakeholders from internal departments (retail, marketing, multichannel, merchandising, etc.).
  • Image manipulation and retouching.
  • Offer assistance and support to all team members.
Requirements
  • Practical experience within Graphic/Industrial Design or signage sectors.
  • Past experience of working within a Retail environment or has understanding of Retail process, or may have knowledge and experience of working with a retailer client within a manufacturing capacity.
  • Some proven experience at various stages of the design process, from concept to implementation.
  • Experience of having worked on multiple design projects at any one time.
Desirable Requirements
  • Ability to generate 3D renders using Sketch Up and V-Ray plug-in.
  • Ability to create digital content using After Effects or equivalent.
  • Experience of working within the signage industry.
Qualifications

Degree in Graphic Design/Industrial Design or other relevant qualification.
