About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Approach Personnel Ltd. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our clients' construction teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert guidance and support to site delivery teams to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Conduct regular site tours and inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Investigate incidents and prepare reports to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain health and safety documentation, including site induction programs and risk assessments.
  • Compile and circulate health and safety alerts and reports to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • NEBOSH General, Construction Certificate or above qualification.
  • Strong understanding of CDM regulations and current health and safety legislation.
  • Experience in the construction industry, with a background in bulk earthworks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Operational experience of ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001.
  • Auditing and inspection skills.
  • Incident investigation and reporting experience.
  • Experience in writing and reviewing health and safety procedures.
