Job Title: Specialist Podiatrist

NHS Ayrshire and Arran is committed to delivering high-quality healthcare services, and we are seeking an experienced Specialist Podiatrist to join our team.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated Podiatrist to contribute to the delivery and development of Podiatry Services and High Risk Diabetes Care. You will work collaboratively with a dynamic and supportive team in hospital and community settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess, manage, and develop wound care and vascular assessment services
  • Contribute to the delivery of new patient clinics and nail surgery
  • Rotate through Multidisciplinary Teams (MDTs) for diabetes complex case clinics
  • Develop and implement new initiatives to improve patient care
Requirements:
  • HCPC registration and B.Sc. (or D.Pod.M) in Podiatric Medicine or equivalent
  • Local Analgesia Certificate
  • Extensive experience in various clinical specialties
  • Evidence of further development of competencies and ability to work autonomously
Working Hours:

37 hours per week

UK Driving Licence/Car Ownership:

UK Car licence/Car ownership is essential for this role
