Our organization values respect and dignity for all patients, customers, and colleagues, and we are looking for team members who are committed to excellence and innovation in their work.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will provide specialized nursing guidance and support to patients with Upper GI conditions, particularly those with Oesophagogastric tumors, ensuring high-quality, individualized care for patients, clients, and their families, both in inpatient and outpatient settings. This will be achieved in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, adhering to local and national standards.

The post holder will deliver specialized nursing care within surgical and oncology environments and will support their line manager in overseeing their clinical specialty. This role will require the ability to navigate complex situations and take appropriate actions across various settings.

Flexibility in clinical practice is essential, as the candidate will provide coverage in specified areas, acting as a professional role model while delivering direct and indirect clinical care, education, and research.

The role will also involve the development of the clinical nurse specialist position in alignment with local and national policies, ensuring that the needs of patients and their families are at the forefront of service improvement efforts.
