About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Athena Care Homes. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a key part in delivering high-quality care to our residents, working closely with our care team to ensure the highest standards of care are achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the care team, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional care outcomes.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of care plans, working closely with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of care, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as nursing and activities, to ensure a holistic approach to care.
  • Provide training and support to care staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a care leadership role, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and staff.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team, with a focus on empowerment, motivation, and development.
  • Strong clinical skills, with experience in clinical observations and care planning.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting.
