Technical Sales Engineer Role

My client is a leading supplier of engineering products, including software and hardware, and services used by engineering professionals worldwide to help them capture, analyse and present spatial information.

This position would suit a recently qualified professional who has some work/direct experience of surveying applications and methods looking to transition into a commercial role with a hardware and software solutions provider.

The successful candidate will have a track record of experience in a technical sales or business development role, with a rounded knowledge of the customer personas and applications in the geospatial survey segment.

Key responsibilities will include analysis of existing customer data, focused activity planning and engagement, including prospecting; lead management; and opportunity generation and management.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to communicate with a diverse client group, both on the telephone and face-to-face.

They will also have excellent opportunity management skills, including the ability to identify and manage significant opportunities with key customers.
