About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day food preparation and the running of the kitchen, maintaining high quality and speed of service for our restaurant and functions. They will work closely with the Head Chef to maximize sales and profitability while ensuring excellence in quality and customer relations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook high-quality dishes to meet the needs of our customers
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, and staff supervision
  • Work collaboratively with the Head Chef to develop menus, manage budgets, and achieve sales targets
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a positive attitude, and promoting a culture of excellence within the kitchen team
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a busy and fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong culinary skills, with a focus on quality, presentation, and flavor
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Knowledge of food safety, health and safety, and relevant regulations
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities
