Role Responsibilities

The Digital Marketing Assistant will operate remotely, with occasional travel to UK stores, and will collaborate closely with the eCommerce team to enhance both online and in-store sales through effective digital marketing strategies, website management, and social media engagement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Social Media Management: Create engaging content, including videos and live interactions, while expanding the group's social media presence through organic growth strategies.
  • Content Scheduling: Proactively develop content that aligns with current trends and the company's brand voice.
  • Digital Strategy Enhancement: Stay informed about digital marketing trends and propose innovative ideas to improve the company's online presence.
  • Customer Service Support: Assist the customer service team as needed through the online contact center.

Specific Duties Include:

  • Product Management: Upload products to the brand websites, including sourcing images and writing compelling descriptions.
  • Email Marketing: Develop and manage email campaigns tailored for both the company and local stores.
  • Promotional Campaigns: Plan and execute monthly marketing initiatives and brand launches.
  • Google Business Management: Oversee the Google Business Manager with support from the eCommerce Manager.
  • Content Creation: Produce online banners, social media posts, and other marketing materials as required.

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following qualifications:

  • Essential Skills: Proven experience managing social media for businesses across various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud tools for content creation.
  • Strong digital marketing background, particularly in eCommerce or retail environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced setting.

Desirable Attributes:

  • Experience in a similar role within the FMCG sector.
