Payroll Specialist

Contract Type: Temporary ongoing
Working Pattern: Part Time, 8:00AM-3:30PM, Monday, Tuesday, and either Thursday or Friday
Hourly Rate: £15.00-£16.00PH
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Payroll Officer to join our client's team in the manufacturing industry. As a Payroll Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for the entire organisation.
Key Responsibilities- Process payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate employee records, including new hires, terminations, and changes to employee information
- Prepare and distribute payslips to employees on a timely basis
- Assist with year-end payroll processes, including issuing W-2 forms
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams on payroll-related projects and initiatives
- Previous experience in a payroll function
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of payroll laws and regulations
- Proficient in using payroll software and MS Office applications
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
