Workforce Information and Systems Director

The Workforce Information and Systems Manager plays a critical role in supporting the Trust's strategic objectives by providing expert advice and guidance on workforce information issues. This includes leading the Workforce Information and Systems Team to deliver key objectives, analyzing data from systems, and presenting information in a meaningful way to inform workforce plans.
Main Responsibilities
* Provide expert advice and guidance on complex workforce information issues
* Ensure timely and accurate production of Workforce Key Performance Indicator reports
* Provide solutions and recommendations relating to workforce information as required
* Lead on providing accurate and timely workforce information reports, including statutory reports, contractual reports, benchmarking, dashboard reports, internal reports, and ad-hoc reports
* Establish effective and efficient processes for collecting, validating, analyzing, interpreting, and reporting workforce data across the Trust
* Liaise with Employment Services in relation to ESR and provide information to Workforce Business Partners to support them in resolving payroll issues
* Lead on developing Workforce Information processes and policies, identifying opportunities to improve service delivery and referring to the Workforce Business Partner as appropriate

Person Specification
* Qualified to Degree level in a numerate maths, statistics, economics, or have significant relevant experience
* Additional specialist knowledge of HR Information Systems ESR, acquired through postgraduate level experience or equivalent
* Understanding of how Workforce Information contributes to Trust-wide workforce planning and financial activities
* Experience of leading on large-scale workforce information implementation projects
