About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Laser Cutter & CNC Machine Installation Specialist to join our team at Boxford, a leading manufacturer of high-quality manufacturing systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and servicing our range of Laser Cutters, Laser Engravers, and CNC machine tools at customer sites throughout the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and commission our Laser Cutters, Laser Engravers, and CNC machine tools at customer sites, ensuring that all equipment is functioning correctly and safely.
  • Provide in-depth training to customers on the safe and effective use of our equipment, including operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to resolve technical issues and meet customer needs, utilizing strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills at component level.
  • Travel extensively throughout the UK, with occasional international opportunities, to ensure that our customers receive the highest level of service and support.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Previous experience as a Laser Cutter and/or Engraver Installation/Service Engineer and Trainer.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills at component level, with the ability to think on your feet and work independently.
  • Excellent customer-facing manner and ability to work with a wide range of clients, including those in the education, design, and industrial sectors.
  • Good computer knowledge and ability to learn new software, with a strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
