Job Summary:

BAM Nuttall is seeking an experienced Interim Head of Quality Assurance to lead the development and implementation of quality strategies for the Transpennine Route Upgrade project. As a key member of the West Alliance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all project outputs meet the highest industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality strategies for the TRU West Alliance
  • Lead quality management and assurance activities
  • Provide strategic guidance to the Construction Quality Leadership Group
  • Support the Senior Leadership Committee and produce quality reports
  • Act as primary quality liaison with internal and external stakeholders
  • Represent the Alliance Quality Function at monthly business reviews
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to resolve quality issues
  • Manage staff development and conduct regular performance reviews

Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence stakeholders
  • Experience in QA management within the construction or engineering industry
  • Relevant qualifications, such as CQP or MCQI
  • Minimum 15 years of quality management experience
