Job Title: Production Team Leader - FMCG

The Production Team Leader is a key role within our manufacturing site at Witham, responsible for managing production and warehouse activities. This position requires strong leadership and organizational skills to ensure the smooth operation of our production processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Staff Management & Training: Manage a team of production staff, including machine operators, production operatives, and hygiene team members. Provide training and development opportunities to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their roles effectively.
  • Performance Management: Monitor and improve production performance, ensuring that quality, safety, and service standards are met. Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize production processes.
  • Maintenance of Quality STD's: Ensure that all quality control documentation is completed accurately and on time. Highlight any quality issues to senior management and escalate to the quality department as necessary.
  • Maintenance of Health and Safety STD's: Ensure that the working environment is safe, including the identification of potential fire hazards and the implementation of fire safety procedures.
Requirements:
  • GCSE standard or higher in a relevant subject
  • Experience in a production or manufacturing environment
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft applications
