The Role

The Paralegal roles require you to have solid legal experience and an excellent eye for detail. The roles demand a confident and ambitious candidate with excellent written and verbal skills. You will need to work to deadlines and be willing to go the extra mile when needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and consider papers received on instruction, obtaining documentary evidence as required
  • Daily client contact and case management, ensuring timely and effective communication
  • Drafting legal and court documents, including pleadings and other relevant materials
  • Preparation of hearing bundles and external instructions, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Case and general administration, including document management and electronic systems
  • Document management, including the use of internal electronic systems to progress cases and provide update reports to clients
  • Conducting legal research, staying up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations

Ideal Candidate

  • LPC or BPTC graduates preferred, with a strong academic background in law
  • Previous proven work experience as a Paralegal/Legal Assistant or Legal Executive, with a focus on civil, commercial, and/or financial litigation
  • Experience in banking or finance, with a strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations
  • Ability to manage own case loads, with excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent research and administration skills, with a strong attention to detail
