Job Overview

As a Community Midwife, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care to women and their newborns throughout the pregnancy journey. This role offers the unique opportunity to utilize your midwifery expertise within a community environment.

Your responsibilities will include participating in both traditional community midwifery services and innovative Continuity of Care (CoC) models. You will also be required to support the homebirth on-call service, engage in collaborative projects across the local maternity system, and work closely with safeguarding teams.

Main Responsibilities

We are seeking a proactive and passionate midwife who is eager to manage their own caseload and conduct clinics independently. If you are motivated to assist low-risk women in delivering at home, we would like to hear from you. Our community midwifery unit is recognized for its forward-thinking approach, serving a diverse population across a wide area.

As part of a large workforce, you will be involved in providing a full spectrum of care, including specialist midwifery services. We are expanding our teams to enhance intrapartum care as part of our maternity transformation initiatives.
