Bookkeeper/Office Administrator

Ro-Dor Limited, a leading manufacturer and installer of automatic doors, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Office Administrator to join their team in Stockbridge. As a key member of the office team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, and general ledger
  • Process transactions, including invoicing, payments, and reconciliations
  • Provide administrative support, including answering phones, responding to emails, and preparing correspondence
  • Assist with data entry, including sales and purchase ledgers, and prepare month-end accounts and VAT returns
  • Submit HMRC CIS monthly returns and maintain accurate records
  • Process staff time sheets and expenses, and perform credit control tasks
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues
  • Stay up-to-date with company policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Requirements:

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in computerized systems and software, including Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Language: English (required)
