Destination Wedding Planner

We are seeking a skilled and creative individual to join our team as a Destination Wedding Planner. In this role, you will be responsible for planning unforgettable weddings in unique and exotic locations around the world for our discerning clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with couples to understand their vision for a destination wedding, including themes, preferred locations, guest count, and budget.
  • Research and recommend ideal destination venues and vendors that fit the couple's preferences and needs.
  • Coordinate all aspects of the wedding, including travel arrangements, venue selection, accommodations, catering, entertainment, and décor at the destination location.
  • Liaise with local vendors and service providers in the destination, securing contracts and negotiating the best possible rates.
  • Ensure all logistical details are managed, such as guest accommodations, transportation, legal requirements for destination weddings, and travel arrangements.
  • Provide couples with clear timelines and itineraries, ensuring that all elements of the wedding are seamlessly integrated.
  • Handle unforeseen issues, such as travel delays, weather disruptions, or last-minute changes, ensuring the event remains on track.
  • Stay updated on travel trends, destination wedding laws, and the latest in wedding styles to provide expert advice.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in wedding planning, with a specific focus on destination weddings preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with an eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with international vendors and clients.
  • Knowledge of popular destination wedding locations and local vendors.
  • Expertise in managing complex logistics and creating seamless travel experiences.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve issues calmly and efficiently.
  • Flexibility to travel internationally and work non-traditional hours, including weekends.
  • Fluency in multiple languages is a plus but not required.
