Job Opportunity: Freight Forwarder


We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Freight Forwarder at a leading logistics company in the UK. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to grow your career while earning a competitive salary.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the import and export of goods from global locations.
  • Arrange collections with transportation companies.
  • Work closely with clients, international agents, and other partners.
  • Provide excellent customer service by answering queries and offering updates.
  • Track orders, handle invoicing, and manage pre-alerts from overseas.
  • Process Customs entries as needed.
  • Monitor shipments until they reach their final destination.
  • Oversee job costing and invoicing.


Requirements:

  • Experience: At least 2 years with a UK-based logistics company.
  • Skills: Knowledge of import/export operations (air, road, ocean), customs clearance procedures, and experience with logistics software.
  • Customer Service: A strong commitment to providing top-notch customer support.
