Business Development Manager

Pact Coffee is a leading specialty coffee company that sources high-quality coffee beans and delivers them to homes, offices, cafes, and hotels across the country. Our mission is to make coffee a force for good by promoting direct trade and investing in coffee farmers' livelihoods.
The RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our sales team. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the office channel, building relationships with key decision-makers, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and engage potential customers, pitch, negotiate, and close deals
- Drive the right level of activity to drive pipeline growth, with a focus on email, call, and visit targets
- Manage a sales pipeline and report progress to the Head of Business to Business (B2B) with a monthly target of £2000 MRR
- Organize and support sampling sessions, machinery installations, barista training, and launches
- Ensure best-in-class launches and support are implemented across your account base, with support from the Key Account and Training team to ensure accounts are operating at 80%+ compliance of booked MRR within the first 6 weeks of trading
- Experience in field sales, preferably in the office channel
- Passion for food and drink, particularly coffee
- Ability to learn quickly and turn coffee training into action
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a confident personality and drive to 'make it happen'
- Well-organized, strategic, and focused on quality outcomes
- Able to work cross-functionally with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally
- Salary bracket: up to £30k depending on experience
- Significant new business commission structure with year 1 OTE of £46k, year 2 OTE of £54k
