About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Assistant Mentor to join our team at Macintyre. As a SEN Assistant Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting young people with learning disabilities and/or autism to achieve their goals and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support young people with learning disabilities and/or autism in a community-based setting
  • Develop and implement personalized education programs to meet the needs of each individual
  • Provide guidance and support to help learners develop practical skills such as using public transport, ICT, cooking, and money management
  • Accompany learners to work experience or college
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our learners
Requirements
  • GCSE (or equivalent) C grade or above in English and Maths
  • UK Manual Driving Licence for insurance purposes
  • No experience necessary, as we provide specialist training
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
