We are seeking a compassionate and experienced SEN Classroom Mentor to join our team at Academics. As a valued member of our staff, you will be supporting students aged 3 to 18 with a range of needs, including Autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, and behavioural challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students on a 1:1 and group basis to achieve their learning objectives
- Work closely with the SENCo and class teachers to develop and implement individualized support plans
- Assist with behaviour and well-being situations, and provide emotional regulation support
- Utilize exceptional facilities, including Art, IT, and Drama rooms, to support student learning
Requirements:
- Experience working with students with special educational needs
- Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a supportive team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
