We are seeking a compassionate and experienced SEN Classroom Mentor to join our team at Academics. As a valued member of our staff, you will be supporting students aged 3 to 18 with a range of needs, including Autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, and behavioural challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students on a 1:1 and group basis to achieve their learning objectives
  • Work closely with the SENCo and class teachers to develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Assist with behaviour and well-being situations, and provide emotional regulation support
  • Utilize exceptional facilities, including Art, IT, and Drama rooms, to support student learning

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with special educational needs
  • Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a supportive team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
