Job Title: Tenant Engagement Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tenant Engagement Officer to join our team at Apex Housing Association Ltd.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with our tenants, communities, and stakeholders to develop and implement effective engagement strategies that promote social inclusion, community cohesion, and tenant participation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with tenants, community groups, and stakeholders to understand their needs and concerns.
  • Design and deliver community engagement initiatives that promote tenant participation, community involvement, and social inclusion.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement effective engagement strategies that meet the needs of our tenants and communities.
  • Provide support and guidance to tenants and community groups to help them access our services and resources.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of engagement initiatives and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A 3rd level qualification in a relevant field, such as community development, social work, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience working in community development, tenant engagement, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with tenants, community groups, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Knowledge of community development principles and practices, with a commitment to social inclusion and community cohesion.
