Job Title: Tenant Engagement Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tenant Engagement Officer to join our team at Apex Housing Association Ltd.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with our tenants, communities, and stakeholders to develop and implement effective engagement strategies that promote tenant participation, community involvement, and cohesion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with tenants, community groups, and stakeholders to promote tenant participation and community involvement.
  • Design and deliver community events, initiatives, and programs that foster community cohesion and promote social inclusion.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to develop and implement effective engagement strategies that meet the needs of our tenants and communities.
  • Provide support and guidance to tenants and community groups to help them access our services and resources.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our community development strategy.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A 3rd level qualification in a relevant field, such as community development, social work, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience working in community development, tenant engagement, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience of working in a community development or tenant engagement role, with a focus on community participation, involvement, and cohesion.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
