Public Sector Project Integration Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Public Sector Project Integration Manager to oversee a critical contract with our central government client. This role will involve a hybrid working model, with a significant portion of time spent in the office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Asset Information Management (AIM) team to establish and implement a robust assurance framework that ensures the integrity of structured project information for asset management purposes.
  • Engage in strategic planning, stakeholder collaboration, and process enhancement to facilitate the application of best practices across various pilot initiatives.
  • Act as the primary liaison for internal teams, leading supply chain partners, and other governmental entities.

Government Soft Landings Champion: In accordance with the revised guidelines for public sector projects, you will serve as the GSL Champion, redefining operational methodologies and delegating responsibilities to subject matter experts as necessary.

Key Duties Include:

  • Support the BIM Manager in enhancing information capture by integrating the Government Soft Landings approach into existing workflows and developing best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and supply chain partners to ensure the seamless integration of Life Cycle, CAPEX, and refurbishment projects into asset management processes, while adhering to health, safety, quality, and budgetary constraints.
  • Define performance targets in collaboration with SMEs at the project's inception and monitor these targets throughout the project lifecycle, considering environmental, social, security, and economic outcomes.
  • Work with facilities management supply chain partners to ensure project solutions deliver long-term benefits through effective asset management practices.
  • Facilitate the collection and dissemination of lessons learned, ensuring that best practices are documented and shared across stakeholder groups.
  • Oversee the timely assurance and submission of project appraisals, feasibility studies, business cases, and asset management reviews, coordinating input from various in-house specialists.
  • Develop project proposals from conception to completion, demonstrating value for money and benefits realization.
  • Identify risks and compliance issues, ensuring effective mitigation strategies are in place, and maintain communication with key stakeholders regarding project milestones and reporting.
  • Monitor and manage the performance of supply chain partners against established performance indicators.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in delivering projects aligned with Government Soft Landings and BSRIA principles across diverse project types and scales.
  • Expertise in specifying and assessing environmental, social, security, and economic project outcomes.
  • Familiarity with post-occupancy surveys, particularly in relation to asset management.
  • Experience in enhancing digital records and data management through Government Soft Landings or BSRIA methodologies.
  • Strong document control and process management skills.
  • Understanding of planned preventative asset management regimes and property data management systems.
  • Experience in soft landings within a strategic construction context.
  • Knowledge of post-occupancy survey implementation or development.
