Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Lime Search & Select Ltd. As an Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our office on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Team Leadership: Lead and manage the day-to-day activities of the Administration and Paraplanning teams, providing guidance and support to ensure the team achieves its objectives.
  2. Recruitment and Onboarding: Lead the recruitment and onboarding process, conducting performance reviews and appraisals to ensure the team is aligned with company objectives.
  3. Client Support: Liaise with advisors throughout the advice process, supporting the production of portfolio and fund analysis reports for advisor/client meetings.
  4. Product Research: Research and analyze Pensions, Protection, Savings, and Investment products, completing due diligence to ensure compliance standards are met.
  5. Platform Management: Utilize platforms and liaise with product providers to obtain information about existing and potential investments, coordinating training on new products.
  6. Compliance: Assist the compliance officer in ensuring compliance standards are met throughout the financial services department.
  7. Project Support: Support the directors with project work related to improvements in business operations.
  8. Process Improvement: Suggest and implement improvements in business systems and processes, operational efficiency, and team development.

We are looking for a candidate with management experience in the Financial Services industry, preferably from within an Independent Financial Advisory sector. You will have a proven track record of managing a team and evidence of team development and progression. A good understanding of the Financial Advice sales process, business submission process, and the commissions and fee payment process is essential. Knowledge of Intelligent Office and/or experience with systems migrations/upgrades is advantageous. Additional Financial Services qualifications, such as a Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning, are also beneficial.

A competitive salary and bonus structure are offered for this 1-year fixed-term contract position, with the possibility of extension or permanent employment.
