About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Executive to join our team at New Resource Group. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing the ongoing development requirements of all Waste Solutions customers while maximizing profit.

This role will involve a mix of field-based work and office-based activities, with a focus on building strong relationships with existing clients and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships with key customers within the Waste division.
  • Visit client sites to discuss their accounts and any additional needs they may have.
  • Generate and secure profitable sales/upsells for our Waste division.
  • Research and identify potential new customers to promote our services, including all waste types.
  • Achieve annual targets as agreed with the Sales Manager.
  • Assist other field sales personnel when required to achieve new business gains.
  • Full responsibility for all Key Account queries.

Requirements:

  • Experience in sales/contract management.
  • Knowledge of the waste industry.
  • Computer literate, including MS Office and able to produce reports and audits.
  • Works well in a team.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Desirable:

  • Experience managing people.
  • Experience of technical assessment/classification of waste streams.
