Marketing Communications Campaign Manager – Switchgear & Segments

About the Role:

In this key position, you will be responsible for developing and executing end-to-end campaigns for the Switchgear business unit and customer segment campaigns for the Distribution Solutions division within Electrification at ABB. You will drive effective internal and external communication initiatives and activities through a multi-channel and outside-in approach, aligned to messaging, proposed target audiences, and value propositions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead integrated marketing communications strategies to support business growth for the Sales & Solution business unit and select customer segments.
  • Plan and manage campaign content for the buying funnel, including awareness, consideration, and intent to purchase.
  • Create external facing materials, such as articles, success stories, case studies, customer presentations, videos, infographics, ads, collateral, and more.
  • Partner with stakeholders on internal awareness and training of MarComs plans.
  • Collaborate and align with MarCom/Comms Experts, Business Line Leaders, Marketing, Sales, Segment Leaders, and Regional and Local teams.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry, customer, and competitor news.

Requirements:

  • Strong marketing communications background with a university degree and a minimum of 8-10 years related experience, along with a track record of success in promoting complex industrial offerings.
  • Understanding of awareness building, demand generation, and lead nurturing, along with the tactics to support each of these areas.
  • High level of attention to detail with proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in B2B, industrial, manufacturing, and complex technical environments.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
