About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our team at Springcare Care Homes Ltd. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, working closely with our nursing staff to ensure the smooth running of our homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Support residents with their nutrition, mobility, and well-being
  • Allocate duties to a team of Health Care Assistants, acting as a role model in the delivery and promotion of best practice
  • Undertake clinical tasks, including checking blood sugar levels, changing simple dressings, and administering medication
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, working closely with the Home Manager and other members of the care team
Requirements
  • Experience as a Nursing Assistant (Senior Care Assistant level 3) or equivalent
  • Ability to work as part of a team and unsupervised
  • Self-motivated and able to motivate and lead a team of care assistants
  • Leadership skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to ad hoc situations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues
