About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our team at Springcare Care Homes Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and support to our residents, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with our nursing staff to deliver exceptional care and support.
  • Assist with personal care, nutrition, mobility, and well-being of our residents.
  • Undertake clinical tasks, including checking blood sugar levels, changing simple dressings, PEG feeding, medication administration, basic observations, and catheter care.
  • Act as a role model in the delivery and promotion of best practice at all times.
Requirements
  • Experience as a Nursing Assistant (Senior Care Assistant level 3) or equivalent.
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work as part of a team and unsupervised.
  • Self-motivated and able to motivate and lead a team of care assistants.
  • Leadership skills, remaining calm under pressure and adapting to ad hoc situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with others using both oral and written skills.

Salary

£12.30 for level 2 in health and social care and £13.30 for level 3 in health and social care.
