About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Springcare Care Homes Ltd.

As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, and toileting
  • Support residents with feeding and mealtimes
  • Encourage residents to participate in activities and engage with their interests
  • Contribute to a safe and clean environment by maintaining high standards of housekeeping
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure residents receive comprehensive care and support

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a care setting, preferably in a healthcare support worker role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Compassion, empathy, and understanding of the needs of older adults
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use care planning software
