Exciting Opportunity for a Children's Home Registered Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children's Home Registered Manager to join our team at Vetro Recruitment. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for setting up and managing a brand new Children's Residential home in Walthamstow.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the smooth running of a busy residential service for children and young people with emotional behavioural difficulties. You will lead a team of staff and ensure that the service offers therapeutic care and support to our young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of staff within the service
  • Ensure the staff and young people are supported at all times
  • Ensure the service meets Ofsted standards
  • Manage staffing and recruitment
  • Ensure the service is safe and efficient

Requirements:

  • NVQ or QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management (Children's Services)
  • NVQ Level 3 in Children's Residential Services
  • Experience working within a Deputy or Children's Home Registered Manager's position
  • Experience in a residential children's home environment
