Senior HR Advisor

We are excited to be working with an amazing client in need of a Senior People Advisor / Senior HR Advisor.
This is an onsite role, with the option to work from home one day per week, providing generalist support to our employees, getting involved with day-to-day HR activities to provide onsite support and advice to line managers and employees at our site in Plymouth.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety and environmental legislation, relevant regulations, and recognised industry guidance to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Provide expert advice and support to key stakeholders on HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation, including Performance Management, Capability, Discipline, and Grievance.
- Act as a focal point for all stakeholders regarding any issues relating to conditions of employment, salary, benefits, and employee relations.
- Proactively manage live employee relations issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Provide advice and assistance for all immigration issues, ensuring compliance with UKBA licence requirements.
- Act as a focal point for long-term absence case management to ensure a timely return to work where appropriate.
- Support with resourcing and recruitment by understanding recruitment needs, building job descriptions, raising requisitions on our HR System, conducting interviews, and any other ad-hoc recruitment requests.
- Support reorganisation, redeployment, redundancy, and TUPE transfer projects.
- Provide support in the preparation of Employment Tribunal documentation.
- Conduct Exit Interviews.
- Provide advice and support on more complex compensation and benefit queries, including collation of insurance claim and renewal data.
- Support and assist with HR projects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders including clients and other construction trades.
- Stay up-to-date with current and future developments affecting the role through continuous professional development.
- Proven experience within a HR/People Advisor role looking for the next step.
- Knowledge of UK Employment Law and Legislation.
- CIPD Level 3 or 5 required.
Successful candidates will be subject to Security Clearance and a DBS.
