Accountant for Latin America Region
GP Strategies Corporation, a leading talent transformation provider, seeks an experienced Accountant to fill a key role in our accounting team. As a vital member of our financial team, you will be responsible for performing the accounting process for the countries in charge of Latin America, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support and review company accounting transactions for LATAM 2 business units.
- Prepare accounting journal entries, reconciliations, and calculations, including accruals and fixed assets depreciation.
- Explain financial variations to the team leader and provide regular updates.
- Collaborate with local accounting firms to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, and support additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting.
- 2 years of experience as an analyst or general accounting specialist in transnational companies.
- Working experience servicing several countries.
- Advanced English language skills.
- Strong service attitude, proactive, and effective communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred).
- Proficiency in spreadsheet software and analytical thinking.
