We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Children Residential Team Leader. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the children and young people in our care to achieve their personal best.

As a Children Residential Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of Support Workers and Senior Support Workers to provide high-quality care and support to the children and young people in our care. You will work closely with the management team to develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of each child and young person.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Support Workers and Senior Support Workers to provide high-quality care and support to the children and young people in our care.
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of each child and young person.
  • Work closely with the management team to ensure the smooth running of the service.
  • Provide support and guidance to Support Workers and Senior Support Workers to ensure they are equipped to provide the best possible care and support.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a residential care setting.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and respond to changing circumstances.

Location: South West Complex Care

Hourly Rate: £13.40 > £14.22 (dependant on experience/qualifications)

OT Rate: 1.25

Gross annual pay based on full time hours + 10 Sleep ins: £28, > £32, (dependant on experience/qualifications)

DBS Check: Enhanced DBS check required

References: Two references covering the past two years required

Working with Children: Experience of working with children and the vulnerable required

Employment History: Details of employment going back to full time education required
