About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Product Specialist to join our team at Reed. As a Data Product Specialist, you will play a critical role in overseeing the data infrastructure, ensuring it aligns with industry best practices and meets the organisation's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Infrastructure Management: Oversee the data infrastructure, ensuring it aligns with industry best practices and meets the organisation's strategic objectives.
  • Collaboration with Global Admin Teams: Collaborate with global admin teams to define and implement data management practices and policies.
  • Product Ownership: Act as a product owner, managing the lifecycle of data products and services.
  • Pilot Group Leadership: Lead pilot groups to test and refine new data initiatives.
  • Data Solution Design: Work closely with data architects to design and optimise data solutions.
  • Platform Adoption: Drive the adoption of data platforms like Dataverse and Databricks across the organisation.
Requirements
  • Strong Understanding of Data Management: Strong understanding of data management principles and global administrative practices.
  • Product Ownership Experience: Experience in product ownership and management within a data-focused environment.
  • Microsoft Data Tools Familiarity: Familiarity with Microsoft data management tools, including Dataverse and Databricks.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead pilot projects and drive innovation within the data space.
  • Data Architecture Knowledge: Knowledge of data architecture and the ability to work with technical teams to implement strategic data solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate data policies and practices across the organisation.
