Job Title: Field Sales Consultant

Join Brakes, the UK's largest foodservice supplier, as a Field Sales Consultant and be part of our ambitious growth plans. We're launching a brand new offering called 'Your Way' within our Independent Sales business, and we're recruiting a number of Your Way Field Sales Representatives across Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Dundee.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Research and understand the target audience and opportunities in your designated neighbourhood.
  • Build and leverage strong customer relationships through constant selling, face-to-face meetings, and understanding customer needs.
  • Onboard new customers effectively and successfully, while ensuring close working relationships with existing accounts and tracking activity using Salesforce.
  • Work closely with your distribution partner/driver to create a strong team for the community.
  • Deliver profitable volume growth and hit targets.
  • Monitor competitor and Independent market activity around your neighbourhood to ensure you're offering the best solutions and insight to customers.
Requirements:
  • Ability to win new business and maximize sales through existing customers.
  • Commercially astute and technically proficient in Excel.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Possession of a food background is desirable but not essential.
