This is an exciting opportunity to lead and develop the paediatric and neonatal organ donation and transplantation strategy, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive best practice in this field.
As a senior nurse and autonomous practitioner, you will be responsible for ensuring clinical excellence is maintained, providing expert professional advice to specialist nurses, and working with national leads to negotiate and influence change.
You will lead the development and implementation of a national paediatric and neonatal organ donation strategy, commissioning and leading research to improve organ donation and transplantation rates.

Main Duties
- Provide expert professional advice to specialist nurses

About You
We are looking for a highly specialist nurse with a thorough understanding of issues affecting paediatric and neonatal organ donation, and experience of implementing effective change within a team or organisation.
You will have a relevant recognised postgraduate nursing registration, teaching qualification or experience, and a valid driving licence.
