eSift Ltd is seeking an experienced Ecommerce Category Merchandiser to join their team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining product categories across their three ecommerce sites.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and optimize product categories to improve customer experience and drive sales
- Work closely with the Buying team to support trading activity and drive traffic and conversions
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to increase product sales and manage blog product visibility
- Enrich data across all three sites, including new filters, data points, and filling data gaps
- Own category templates and sort orders, with a focus on building the customer journey
- Analyze products using Google Analytics and other data points to drive action onsite
- Experience working in a similar ecommerce merchandising role
- Impressive attention to detail and passion for data accuracy
- Excellent written communication skills
- Tech literacy and ability to learn new platforms and tools quickly
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
- Ambition, initiative, and top-notch organizational skills
- Demonstrable experience of using Google Sheets or Excel above a basic level
- Confidence with formulas, particularly VLookUps
- Previous use of an ecommerce backend system and Google Analytics a plus
- Willingness to share ideas and a positive outlook with a strong 'can-do' attitude
