Job Title: Pastry Production Operative

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Pastry Production Operative to join our team at Cranswick Country Foods PLC. As a Pastry Production Operative, you will be responsible for mixing, laminating, and pinning within the Pastry department, ensuring the efficient and effective running of the area/line.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Under the guidance of the Line Manager, ensure that each product specification is followed and any anomalies are reported immediately.
  • Ensure that any production targets set by the Line Manager are met; or if this is not possible, shortfalls are reported to the relevant person in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy area (work, changing room, canteen etc), meeting both safety and hygiene regulations of the site.
  • Wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment at all times within the Production Area.
  • Report any equipment defects immediately to the Area Supervisor / Team Leader.
  • Behave in a safe and appropriate manner at all times.
  • Assist during internal / external audits as required.
  • Adhere to all Company Rules and Policies.
  • Maintain high levels of work performance including attendance, timekeeping etc.

  • Commitment and good work ethic.
  • Desire to progress within the department.
  • Self-motivated and a team player.
  • Ability to undertake some heavy lifting.
