The Centre Supervisor will be pivotal in ensuring effective management of the center's team, operations, and curriculum, leading the successful implementation of our organizational vision to enhance learner achievement and create a sustainable training environment for those requiring additional support.


The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in promoting the center's significance within the local community, engaging with key stakeholders to identify opportunities that foster business growth.

You will confidently lead a team, employing strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills to inspire others throughout the process.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the education and training center team, implementing the organization's vision and curriculum.
  • Provide strategic and effective leadership to ensure the operational success of the center through proficient staff management.
  • Develop and maintain effective local and/or national relationships that support the center's growth.
  • Ensure appropriate support interventions are in place for learners at risk.
  • Participate in network meetings with referral agencies and local authorities to position the center effectively.
  • Manage behavior within the center as necessary.
  • Collaborate with tutors to ensure learners receive high-quality education across all courses.
  • Oversee behavioral management and attendance monitoring of learners.
  • Manage the recruitment process to effectively reach center capacity.
  • Oversee the Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) process, ensuring targets are met.
  • Ensure timely reviews of EHCPs.
  • Act promptly on safeguarding matters and report to the safeguarding manager.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and report to the Director of Youth Programs.
  • Manage the center's finances in collaboration with the finance department.
  • Build relationships with families and young people.

Candidate Profile:

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Management qualifications at Level 3 (Desirable)
  • Quality assurance qualification (Desirable) or willingness to pursue
  • GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths at grade C or above (Essential)
  • Experience in managing teams within an educational environment (Essential)
  • Qualifications and experience in Special Educational Needs (Essential)
  • Understanding and experience with EHCPs (Essential)
  • Background in further education, either with a training provider or college
  • Experience in managing administrative responsibilities to ensure operational success (Essential)

We also provide a Christmas and New Year shutdown period, granting an additional 3 days of leave at full pay for this closure.
