Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Early Years Educator to join our team at the Early Years Alliance. As a key member of our nursery management team, you will be responsible for leading a team of educators to provide high-quality care and education to children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of educators to deliver creative and engaging learning opportunities for children.
  • Role Modeling: Model sensitive and responsive interaction and extend children's learning as a role model for the wider staff team.
  • Curriculum Planning: Develop and implement curriculum plans within the setting, taking into account the Early Years Foundation Stage and Special Educational Needs and Disability Code of Practice.
  • Setting Management: Oversee the setting in the absence of the Assistant Manager and Manager, ensuring the smooth operation of the nursery.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: A minimum Level 3 Early Years Education and Childcare qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience: Post-qualification experience in working in early education and childcare.
  • Knowledge and Skills: A sound understanding of child development and children's needs, with the ability to plan and implement the curriculum in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage.
