Assistant Quantity Surveyor Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our team in the South Coast area. This role involves working on commercial aspects of delivery of assigned contracts to budget, liaising with surveyors and senior surveyors, and managing project plans, budgets, and costs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and monitor assigned project plans, associated budgets, costs, and contract terms.
  • Liaise with surveyors and senior surveyors to ensure delivery of budget and financial information.
  • Collaborate with finance, procurement, and estimating teams as required.
  • Value works and collate associated documentation for inclusion in CVR, cash flow forecast, and sales forecast.
  • Monitor and manage orders, deliveries, and invoicing of materials.
  • Manage sub-contractor orders, approvals, and payments.
  • Ensure familiarity with budget from Estimating department.
  • Update Project Probe with relevant information.
  • Provide information for updating sales forecast, cash flow forecast, and CVR.
  • Attend site meetings as required.
