Key Account Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to join our client's successful team in St Albans. Our client is a family-run business with a strong reputation in the food service industry.

About the Role:

As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional account management to our client's top accounts. You will work closely with the Head of Sales and Marketing and the Managing Director to implement the sales strategy through key accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and develop long-term relationships with key national accounts.
  • Identify opportunities to grow accounts and secure new business.
  • Be the primary point of contact for these accounts.
  • Deliver an outstanding customer experience.
  • Manage commercials, forecasting, contracts, and agreements to maximize revenue and ensure mutually beneficial terms.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure cohesive service delivery.
  • Analyze sales data and present on performance, opportunities, and risks.

Requirements:

Successful candidates must demonstrate their experience of managing large accounts, ideally within a Food Manufacturing or Food Service environment within the UK. You will have a strong background in customer service, relationship management, and dealing with multiple projects while being commercially knowledgeable.

Ideal candidates will have worked as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, or similar commercial roles within the Food Manufacturing sector.
