Accounting Manager

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our Global Finance team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the accounting team in EMEA, including managing debtors, creditors, and asset accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop the accounting team in EMEA, currently consisting of 5 employees
  • Oversee the daily accounts function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions
  • Develop and implement best practices for accounting processes and procedures
  • Manage bank accounting for main operating entities, including customer funds accounting
  • Prepare accurate monthly financial statements for PPRO's entities and serve as the primary contact for auditors during year-end audits
  • Support the production of annual statutory financial statements for EMEA entities
  • Participate in ad-hoc continuous improvement projects

Requirements:

  • University degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent)
  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience in accounting, including experience at a Big 4 audit firm
  • Proven experience in managing teams and leading accounting operations
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP accounting standards (e.g., HGB, Lux GAAP)
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work with remote teams
  • MS Dynamics experience is a plus
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Proficiency in English is a must
