Accounting Manager

We are Sinch, a leading provider of mobile engagement solutions. Our mission is to help businesses communicate with customers in innovative and effective ways.

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team in London. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for delivering timely and accurate financial statements in compliance with group policies and local law.

The Role

As Accounting Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day accounting activities and review month- and year-end reporting. You will ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting, legal, and tax reporting, and compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.

You will also contribute to the migration of our ERP system, manage month-end closing and reporting to Sinch Group Accounting, coordinate external audit of legal entities, and identify and resolve exceptions in accounting processes.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting activities and review month- and year-end reporting
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting, legal, and tax reporting, and compliance with regulatory and internal requirements
  • Contribute to the migration of our ERP system
  • Manage month-end closing and reporting to Sinch Group Accounting
  • Coordinate external audit of legal entities
  • Identify and resolve exceptions in accounting processes
Requirements

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager with a Bachelor or Master's Degree in Business Administration and 5+ years of professional experience within accounting and/or auditing. You should have solid accounting, auditing, taxation and reporting skills and knowledge of accounting rules and policies.

You should also have advanced knowledge of technology such as ERP systems, Excel, and databases, as well as understanding of the internal control environment and the dynamics of the business and managerial skills in projects and outsourcing.

Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken, is required. Our corporate language is English, and we require all applications to be submitted in English.
