Business Studies Department Leader

We are seeking an exceptional educator to lead our Business Studies department, driving academic excellence and innovation. The successful candidate will be a passionate advocate for business education, with a strong track record of teaching and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business studies curriculum, aligning with school goals and standards.
  • Lead and manage a team of business studies teachers, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the school to promote business education and develop partnerships with local businesses.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to enhance student outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in teaching business studies, with a strong understanding of curriculum design and delivery.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with colleagues, students, and external partners.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, with a willingness to undergo child protection screening.
